Jonathan has a strong track record of providing cost management services on complex construction projects across a number of sectors within the built environment.
Jonathan understands the client’s objectives, with an enthusiastic hands-on approach he works closely with clients and design teams ensuring best value is delivered on his projects. He has a ‘can do’ attitude and is a key member of the team.
Jonathan also has specific expertise in building services cost management, which allows him to appraise and challenge technical design solutions as well as provide cost advice for the implementation of renewable and sustainable technologies.
In addition to cost management, he has extensive experience in successfully delivering the employer’s agent and contract administrator role.
Jonathan is a Chartered Member of the RICS (MRICS).

Simon drives value from the start of a project and challenges design to ensure his client’s assets are maximised. He has a key focus on client care and proven track record of achieving the client’s requirements.
Simon is known for his hands-on approach ensuring successful completion of his projects from inception to final account.
In addition to cost management, he has extensive experience in successfully delivering the employer’s agent and contract administrator role.
Simon is a Chartered Member of the RICS (MRICS).
Director
Mark is an experienced cost consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Mark is skilled in adding value across a wide range of sectors, with over a decade of experience, and having completed a variety of high profile and award winning projects nationwide.
Mark’s skills lie within leading the strategic cost management and procurement of projects and delivery through to completion. Mark prides himself in the quality of his work and the delivery of successful projects for his Clients.
In addition to cost management, Mark has extensive experience in successfully delivering the employer’s agent and contract administrator role.

Director
Sam is an experienced cost consultant, with over 9 years of experience, across multiple sectors within the construction industry. Sam has successfully delivered complex and challenging schemes including heavy refurbishments, extensions, as well as new builds and fit out projects.
Sam has a strong work ethic, priding himself in the quality of his delivery and offering a proactive approach to cost management, adding value for his Clients at all stages of the project.
In addition to cost management, Sam has extensive experience in successfully delivering the employer’s agent and contract administrator role.

Associate
Daniel is an experienced cost consultant within the construction industry, with over 15 years of experience. Daniel has a strong track record of delivering projects within budget and adding value from inception to completion.
Daniel is proactive, hands on and methodical in his approach, which enables him to lead projects and be a key member of the team. Daniel builds trust in relationships from the outset and has a key focus on achieving the Client’s requirements.

Associate
James is an experienced cost consultant working across a number of sectors within the construction industry. James has strong technical and commercial management skills, with over 7 years of experience, bringing clear commercial advice ensuring projects are delivered to achieve the client’s requirements.
James has excellent delivery skills through all stages of the project, with a hands on approach working closely with project teams to ensure the successful completion of projects from inception to final account.
James is a Chartered Member of the RICS (MRICS).
Project Surveyor
Max is a cost consultant in the construction industry, with over 3 years of experience, across a number of sectors. Max is enthusiastic, diligent and his experience in working on a variety of projects adds value to his delivery.
Max has a positive attitude, ability to harbour relationships and works as a strong member of the team. Max seeks to add value throughout every stage of a project and sets out to deliver the best results for his Clients.
Max has a bachelor’s degree and is working towards his APC to become a Chartered Member of the RICS.
Project Surveyor
Beth is a cost consultant in the construction industry, with over 6 years of experience, across a number of sectors.
Beth has a positive attitude, is well organised and diligent in her approach. Beth strives to achieve a high standard of service delivery on every project and seeks to add value for her Clients. Beth is a strong member of the team and plays a key role in supporting senior people within the business.
Beth has a bachelor’s degree and is working towards her APC to become a Chartered Member of the RICS.
Assistant Surveyor
Louise is an assistant cost consultant providing a key supporting role within the company, across a number of sectors and variety of projects. Louise has a keen willingness to learn and develop her cost management skills.
Louise is bright and has a can-do attitude proving to be a valuable asset to the team. Louise provides a strong supporting role to the senior delivery team.
Louise has a master’s degree and is working towards her APC to become a Chartered Member of the RICS.
Graduate Surveyor
Luca is a graduate cost consultant providing a key supporting role within the company, across a number of sectors and variety of projects. Luca is enthusiastic and has a thirst for knowledge, bringing a diligent approach to the service delivery on his projects. Luca has a positive attitude and works hard to ensure strong support is provided to the senior delivery team. Luca is very capable and keen to develop his cost management skills. Luca has a degree and is working towards his APC to become a Chartered Member of the RICS.
Year Out Placement
Joe is a year out placement studying Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Loughborough University.
Having successfully completed his second year at University, Joe is working as part of the Abakus team before returning to complete the final year of his degree. Abakus are providing Joe with the support and training to develop his experience and career as part of his industry placement.
Joe is keen to learn and develop his experience, with a hard working approach and positive attitude. Following completion of his degree, Joe is keen to progress and achieve RICS chartership status.
